Dietary Services

The HNJH Dietary Services Department works toward improving the health status of our community by providing nutrition education and nutritionally adequate and appetizing meals to those whom we serve, working cooperatively with other departments to provide the highest quality care available.

 In addition to serving the needs of the hospital patients and long-term care residents, the Dietary Services Department maintains a self serve cafeteria for use by the staff, guests and visitors. Upon request, guest trays will be provided to persons visiting patients for a nominal fee. Many special meals are prepared and provided for meetings that take place on the hospital grounds.

 In patient nutritional counseling is available for all patients as requested by the physician, and outpatient diet consults are available by appointment for a nominal fee.
