Service Excellence. What does that mean to you? To us, at Helen Newberry Joy Hospital and Healthcare Center it means our initiative to establish and maintain the highest level of our customer service that focuses on patient needs and expectations.
Service Excellence is also about helping our staff to reach their potential through excellent performance. Systems will be streamlined and processes will be developed to eliminate hassles and bottlenecks. It’s about building a culture that supports learning, growth and positive change. Service Excellence. It’s about doing the right things right, not once, but all of the time.
Our service initiative has been introduced to all of our staff including the administration, employees, physicians and board members and has become a part of our new employee orientation. Service Excellence is being implemented at healthcare facilities throughout the country with impressive results. Our goal is to do the same, here at Helen Newberry Joy Hospital and Healthcare Center. It will become a consistent, ongoing process that necessitates great patient relations and mutual respect amongst employees. At the same time, staff teamwork and problem solving will continually meet the needs of patients and employees. Seven committees have been formed within the organization to support the highest level of Service Excellence.
