As one of the most technologically advanced, up-to-date diagnostic centers in the Eastern Upper Peninsula, we are able to provide a wide range of services.

By placing a high value on compassion, customer service, quality, respect, teamwork, and trust, our skillful physicians and professional medical staff are dedicated to growing a healthier community.

No one will be denied access to services due to inability to pay; there is a discounted/sliding fee schedule based on family size and income.

With over 30 years of experience in healthcare and a deep commitment to rural communities, Helen brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to her new role. She’s eager to work alongside our dedicated team and the wonderful community of Newberry to continue providing exceptional care. I am truly honored to join the Helen Newberry Joy Hospital family. I am deeply committed to continuing the tradition of excellence and to fostering a strong connection with our great community.

My passion for rural healthcare is deeply rooted in my upbringing in a small town, where I learned firsthand the importance of accessible, high-quality care.

At HNJH, I am excited to work alongside our dedicated staff, patients, and community partners. My top priority is to listen and learn from each of you, our community, and staff, to work together to meet the healthcare needs of our community, and to continue to grow as a trusted and vital resource for everyone in our community. By understanding our unique challenges and opportunities, we can continue building on our strengths and create even better patient outcomes.

Our flowers come from Main Street Floral and Gifts, where the talented floral artists create unique and cheery bouquets that brighten anyone's day! Be sure to check out the colorful array of flowers in our flower cooler located in the main lobby of Helen Newberry Hospital.

Flowers will be available for sale during our info desk hours 8 AM - 4:30 PM Monday-Friday.
