For the third year, Helen Newberry Joy Hospital is partnering with Tahquamenon Area Schools to bring food to local food pantries with the Homecoming Harvest Gathering Food Drive. This week-long drive will take place during homecoming week, September 23-27 with K-12 classes collecting food items and the week ending with a community drive from 9AM-5PM in the hospital parking lot. 
Events

This support group has been established for anyone who has had, is considering, or has scheduled bariatric weight loss surgery. Meet others who are going through similar experiences and share everyday struggles and strategies. Meetings are the last Tuesday of the month from 6PM-8PM in the Huron Conference Room. To register or for more information, please call Kirby Wendt at 906.291.0074.

Voice of the Patient

Preventive care is critical to overall health and includes screenings, exams, tests, and immunizations that identify health problems early on so you can take action to keep them from becoming chronic conditions. Brian Maier's annual visit with Jackie Donovan, FNP proved to be lifesaving.
